ABIF currently supports education scholarships in Australia and America and is developing scholarships to Brazil, New Zealand, Canada, England and Europe.
ABIF is also involved in a range of programmes designed to secure the future of the Australian beef industry including:
- ANZ ABIF Rural Leadership Scholarship to attend the Kellogg Rural Leadership Programme at Lincoln University, New Zealand
- Simon Gubbins Scholarship to study a Degree or Diploma of Agriculture course at Lincoln University, New Zealand
- An Aboriginal scholarship to Marcus Oldham College in conjunction with Rural Press Limited
- Centralian Beef Breeders Association ABIF Scholarship to attend the Marcus Oldham Rural Leadership Program
- Fairfax Agricultural Media ABIF Scholarship to attend the Marcus Oldham Rural Leadership Program
- Various breed society youth activities and competitions such as the Australian Young Agribusiness Leaders Contest
- Inaugural sponsorship of the Herds of Hope initiative raising money for Ronald McDonald House Charities
